It’s the first day of a brand new financial year for us here at Social INK. Yes, it’s weird, 1st September is day one for us. It’s also the perfect time to make some BIG announcements. A lot has been changing behind the scenes for the last couple of months, and we figured now is the perfect time to share the latest updates with you in this post.

Complete Focus on Blockchain

Since 2017, we’ve been involved in a variety of blockchain projects. Some continue to do amazing things, and like all startups, some are no longer with us unfortunately 😔. But during all that time, we’ve learnt a thing or two about marketing a blockchain company.

Today we’re announcing that going forward we’ll be focusing exclusively on marketing blockchain projects, and we couldn’t be more excited.

From helping a new exchange raise money through their ICO back in 2017, to launching NFT project websites in 2021, we’ve loved working with this fast-paced industry. More importantly, working alongside these incredible projects, and seeing first-hand the disruption of traditional industries, through dApps, DeFi and NFTs, has been incredible!

Market Focus = New Bespoke Services

It’s not just about our new sole focus for blockchain projects. It’s also about our brand new services that we believe offer industry-leading support, and results, for our clients.

Fractional CMO

Today we announce the launch of our Fractional CMO service, a simple proposition that is perfect for blockchain projects that don’t have an in-house marketing team yet.

Both Chris (contracted as Marketing & Communications Director for a regulated blockchain project back in 2019) & Anna (recently completed 20 months as Marketing Director for a group of regulated businesses) are experienced when it comes to the CMO role. Yes, you’ve probably heard this before, from lots of pseudo-wannabe agencies or freelancers. You’re right, we get it, lots of people offer a “bespoke package”.

But most of them don’t include experienced CMOs creating your strategy, a large group of specialised content creators, analysis and review of all your efforts and most importantly, a ready-to-deploy team to support you on your journey.

Welcome Back Anna Simmonds

And the celebrations continue as we welcome Anna Simmonds back to the Social INK team. Anna originally joined the team in 2017, and for the last 18 months, she’s been leading the marketing for a regulated group of companies.

Her experience, dedication, creativity and just sheer love of all things Social, makes her a perfect asset to help us move forward in our new direction. Having seen all the madness of the 2017 ICO wild-west, through to closely watching the NFT and DeFi space more recently, Anna is well versed and an asset to any blockchain project.

Introducing Adam Hunt, Properly

Adam joined the team as a Marketing Executive back in April 2021, and although we did get Adam on camera straight away (that’s how we roll) we didn’t do a proper introduction.

So, after having worked in marketing for a group of recruitment companies, he joined the Social INK team, intending to increase his experience and skillset to continue to create amazing content for our clients.

And finally, he’s on our website, so it’s really official now, right?

And finally…

All good things must come to an end, apparently, but we don’t believe in that exactly. We think that we move on from one amazing opportunity to the next, and that’s exactly what’s happening for James O’Donnell.

JOD, as he’s known to many of us, is moving on to the next chapter in his life. He’s launched the new JODPOD podcast, which is fantastic, and we highly recommend you go listen.

After 2 years of working together, especially over 2020 (bloody pandemic), we’ve seen our fair share of ups and downs over that time. But from all the team at Social INK, we want to wish him the best of luck for the future.
