MEDIA Protocol: Creating Smart Content
We’ve worked with James and the team at MEDIA Protocol previously and we find their project fascinating. For starters, it completely aligns with the work we do.
Digital marketers rely on the metrics and analytics offered by major platforms like Google and Facebook, to track user engagement and campaign performance. But, they can never be completely certain of the reliability of the data.
MEDIA Protocol uses blockchain technology to create a direct, secure, and transparent relationship between content creators, publishers, and consumers, effectively cutting out third-party platforms like Google or Facebook.
With MEDIA Protocol, brands and publishers can create promotions using smart URLs to track consumer engagement with a piece of content. As content is consumed, the relevant engagement data is transparently recorded on the blockchain. There’s no third-party involvement interrupting the two-way exchange between producer and consumer. The data is immediate and meaningful.
The Future of Content
On Tuesday 4th December 2018, at 6pm UK Time, we will be hosting a Facebook Live video AMA discussion between our CEO, Chris Bruno, and James Tabor, CEO of MEDIA Protocol.
The topic of the one-hour live discussion will be “The Future of Content,” with a chance for you to pitch questions to both Chris and James on the subjects of advertising, marketing, content creation or anything else that springs to mind, live.
We will be asking Chris and James to draw upon their respective experiences in the world of marketing and share their observations on current trends, as well as their predictions for the future of content creation, before handing the direction of the conversation over to the live audience.
Viewers will be able to ask both Chris and James questions using the chat function on the Facebook Live stream. These can be on advertising, marketing, content creation or indeed anything about Social INK, MEDIA Protocol, or the various projects that Chris and James have been working on.
