Turning up the heat!
Last week the Social INK team were hired to take over a company’s Social Media. I was told I will be in charge of producing content for each social page but before sending out any social posts I need to make sure I send them over to Chris for them to be checked over. Honestly, as a 21-year-old you would think handling social media post would be a walk in the park. I am not saying it is not easy but at the end of the day, it is for a business. You have got to keep an eye out for any little mistake.
All social posts have to be written correctly, carefully. At the end of the day, if I was to make a mistake it will affect the client and us here at Social INK and to be honest I would feel disappointed in myself because I know it will affect both companies because of my mistake. I felt the pressure when I was just dealing with the Social INK pages. I never wanted to make mistakes, when I did I just felt silly. I am confident in handling both company pages now.
I think me being worried about this is a good thing. I think if I was too relaxed about it then I would be more likely to make mistakes, I am happy I am not going into this over confident. I have had troubles in the past when having to to deal with more than one task. I want to make sure I can remain on top of all the Social pages.
I am going to create weekly reminders on my calendar to help me keep on top of things. I have realised balancing my work load is a big problem for me. I know I try to do too many things at once, I realised I start several task and then ending up with only some bits half done. I need to get in to a routine of going through tasks one by one.
Thank you guys for keeping up to date I am grateful every time I see someone shares my blog and even gives feedback.
