Digital marketing covers a wide range of different types of strategies and options, including blogging, getting on social media, using online ads and the like. It’s important that you engage in all of these activities, but it’s also a good idea to think a little bit differently and to look for different ways that you can engage and interest your audiences. The following are some different, but entirely workable and feasible, methods of marketing and getting the attention your company needs.

Have an Online Event

Have you thought about having an in person event, where you give a talk about your niche and take questions? While that might be a decent idea, take a moment to consider the limitations. No matter where you hold the event, there will be space limitations. You also have to think about feeding people and providing parking for them. However, when you have an online event, you don’t have to worry about such things. You can set up Q&As on Twitter, or you could even to a live talk on a video conferencing service that people can watch. It’s a great way to get some more buzz for your business.

Create Videos

Something else that you should seriously consider doing is adding some videos to your site. Start up a YouTube channel and put up regular videos. Even if you are in an industry that you feel doesn’t have video potential, you are wrong. Talk about the basics of your field, create a couple of commercials, and give potential clients a behind the scenes look at the operations of your company. This way, they will know more about you and develop more of a trust, which can help them decide to do business with you.

Write a Book

Have you thought about writing an eBook and giving it away on your site as a free PDF? You can provide your clients with some basic knowledge that can help them, and market yourself as an expert in the field at the same time. Creating an eBook is easy. It just takes some time and effort. If you aren’t able to create the eBook on your own, you can always hire a professional to do it for you. It’s cost effective, and you can continue to give it away in perpetuity. Encourage your clients to share copies with their friends and family as well, so you can spread the reach even further.
