Let’s start with productivity. Remote teams have shown productivity levels of almost 2.5 times that of office-based staff. That’s two-and-a-half employees for the price of one!

Taking this into account, employees are likely to be more flexible on salary when they can save the equivalent of $5-7k a year on travel.
How Do Clients Benefit?
The reduction in costs for the company, is passed on to the clients. Simple as that.
Companies with a remote workforce can provide lower quotes (this is the beauty of not having to cover as many overheads). The more competitive the prices, the better for your clients (and the longer you’ll keep them).
That global talent pool mentioned earlier, is available to the client too, and with more flexible employment arrangements, they don’t have to commit to big teams long term. It’s much easier to vary by project.
