Mobile and tablet traffic has now taken over desktop traffic. it’s official! More people are browsing, reading, finding you and your competitors on mobile devices rather than sat at their desks on their computers.
Are you showing you best possible side?
Think about it, when you are at home watching TV, how often do you reach for your mobile phone? How often are you on an iPad or similar whilst watching TV?
We live in a multi-screen, overly connected world, that has made us want everything right NOW! Mobile devices have allowed us to get it right now, no matter where we are or what we are doing!
So mobile devices are the future. Ask yourself a couple of questions:
- Is my website mobile friendly? If you’re not sure about this, pull out your smartphone and bring up your site and have a look. What could be better? What isn’t working whilst you’re on your mobile? How do your blogs look? How are things laid out? Make sure it’s the best possible version of your site!
- When it comes to your social media, are you optimising your content for mobile devices? Are you taking advantage of mobile only features? Think about things like Facebook 360 videos for example. These work best and are most interactive when on mobile devices, where people can move them around easily.
- How about your content? Is it ready for people to view on mobile devices? Think about infographics as an example. Are the figures easy to read and the general outline viewable on a mobile?
These may seem like obvious things but you would be amazed how many people really don’t take this in to consideration. We don’t want you to be one of those people.
